Life.
 
That's what gets in the way of things.
 
Not you, or me, or anyone else.
 
The worst part is that we all have to go through it.
 
A whirlwind of the unknown, tripping on cobblestones of accidents-lessons- along the way.
 
We don't always get to decide how we live, but sometimes, if we're lucky enough, we get it right.
 
I'm not one of those people.
 
I never have been, no matter how hard I tried.
 
I'll hope that by the end, you'll understand why I did what had to be done.
 
If you don't, just know that I do.
 
And remember that everything will be okay now.
